Freedom Discos has been established since 2002 and is solely run by DJ and entertainer, Darren Kirk. Having previously worked on holiday parks and hotels, Darren has many years' experience in the disco and entertainment business.

All your occasions are catered for, such as:
Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings and Anniversaries. Christmas Parties, Corporate Events, Proms and Balls.

PA equipment can also be provided, for such events as:
Fetes, Carnivals, Gala's and Open Days. Firework Displays, Fashion Shows and Auction of Promises.

A large selection of music is always on hand, ranging from the 2nd World War, right through to the present day. Freedom Discos have the option of Karaoke, plus fun games suitable for both children and adults, ensuring all ages are catered for.

As well as being a DJ, Darren can be Presenter, Compere, MC, at your party or event, making relevant announcements, and introduce any other entertainment. With his professional and friendly manner, plus timely witty banter, Darren will ensure your party or event is an enjoyable one, for both youself and your guests.

Various systems of sound and lighting are used, and can be adapted to suit your venue and your inividual needs. Backup equipment is always in place, to ensure piece of mind that your party or event continues smoothly and seamlessly.

Just one person will deal with your booking, from your initial point of contact, right through to the end of your party or event. Written confirmation of your booking is sent out, ensuring a guaranteed personal, reliable and professional service throughout.

Thank you so much for your wonderful contribution to last nights event (Sat 12th Dec 2009), you were just fabulous and really made the evening go with a bang. Thanks for an entertaining evening at the worky's Northallerton. Especially enjoyed the ballet from Gary Hurworth (postman) and the half hearted dirty dancing lift by him and Chris Fishburn and for entertaining the smaller children as well, not many DJ's do that, it is much appreciated. Hope to see you soon as in our eyes, you know what you are doing and an expert.

Hi Darren, Thank you very much for all your help and support for the disco in the Town Hall, on the night of the Santa Parade/Late Night Shopping. Those who attended the disco really enjoyed it. Please make a note in your diary for next year – date is Friday, 27th November 2009. We’ll look forward to a bigger and better event next year.
